7 Mile Junction
From the hills of the historic Cumberland Gap comes 7 Mile Junction, an exciting bluegrass, mountain soul, and bluegrass gospel band fresh on the scene. But don’t let that fool you; the members of 7 Mile Junction have brought years of collective experience to the group. Combining traditional and modern sounds, along with some family friendly hillbilly humor, 7 Mile Junction will entertain the audience like few other bands can.
Colton Goins-Lead Guitar, lead vocals
With a tenor clear as a mountain stream and flashy flatpicking, Colton brings a true “mountain soul” to the band. “I’ve had a guitar in my hands since I could walk, grew up playing guitar/piano with my family (The Goins Family) until my mom got sick and couldn’t sing anymore. We’ve traveled to churches all around the surrounding states, survived through two rounds on the Praise 96.3 talent show. We’ve been on 3 different TV channels. Recorded 3 CDs. I love playing music, hunting, fishing, being outdoors.” He and his wife reside in Lafollette, TN
